Retreat Summary
Majority of the locals from Region 18 attended the Board Retreat on July 9-10, 2018. During the retreat, Region 18 members worked on team building exercises, budgets and additional training was provided. Each local worked individually on their local budget; as well as we worked collectively as a region on Region 18’s budget. Winifred Jackson provided a training on Building Communities. We worked as groups and discussed how to effectively build a community. Angela Davis provided a training on Parliamentary Procedures. Lunch was provided by Dickey’s. We concluded the retreat at 2:00 pm.
